seananomie I have been buying these From Here To Tranquility comps since I was in college in the early 90s. This is some of my all-time favorite music.

Branden Marshall Ahh, never thought Id see a new Silent Records comp and now it feels like they never left. Superb ambience you'd expect from Silent. Favorite track: "Pyramid".

Deftly-D Silent Records is probably America's longest running ambient label, which back in the 90s was delivering a ton of favorite albums from artists ranging from Merzbow to Ambient Temple of Imagination to Vuemorph to The Spice Barrons. I loved what Kim Cascone put out and am pleased to see the rebirth of Silent. This compilation could easily have been released at that time and yet is as timeless and relevant as today. Such a great collection of work. Favorite track: "The Prayer".

David Atkinson Delighted to see Silent back again, I came across the label in the early 90's and I still go back to listen to them, the sound is timeless. I can highly recommend tracking down the other 'Tranquility' albums and each of the ones by Heavenly Music corp, also Unidentified floating ambience is a classic. Looking forward already to the next compilation..thanks! Favorite track: "Seventh Sun Circuit".

16 new tracks by the ambient artists whose music helped define the label in the 90's.
This compilation of light and dark ambient music will undoubtedly pull new listeners into the ambient fold while quenching
the thirst of die-hard fans who have waited patiently since 1998 for new material from the label.
Most of the tracks on "From Here to Tranquility" were created specially for this limited edition release, some were rescued
